The Transformation Solution – What Is It Really?

2011
02.07

Every fitness and diet plan must be evaluated primarily by the results it will help users to attain. In the following Transformation Solution review, you will find out some of the things that you might be able to obtain using this program that was created by Bill Phillips.

Even though the existing format of this program could be new, the creator of the Transformation Solution was able to help thousands of people to change their body and overall lifestyle. What is important is the fact that Bill Phillips is taking a wide-ranging approach to weight loss. This means that he is not focusing on exercise and nutrition (even though those two things play an important role in the program); instead more emphasis is placed on internal change.

As a result of working on your behavior, lifestyle, way of thinking and thought processes, this program aims to develop a more positive, gratifying and beneficial experience and this will inspire your physical routines and assist you to burn off fat and strengthen your body. Basically, this will be a highly effective approach since the reason why you are overweight to begin with has a great deal to do with what is taking place on the inside. The issues you believe in; how you live your life; your disposition and such like, tend to be the things which influence bad eating habits and result in a harmful lifestyle.

Whilst you can also discover ways to eat correctly and how you can effectively train to boost your metabolism, tone your body and use-up more calories, the real strength of this program is in the way it will help you transform internally.

In the end, you will not impeded by previous failures, despair, a feeling that you are unable to accomplish your goals or any other negative thoughts. You will have challenges just like any weight loss program, but you can learn to look at these as temporary setbacks and not something to worry about. You are required to work hard enough to change the bad habits that you developed over the years, so it is important for you to get ready for this challenge.

The Transformation Solution Review – 4 Things I Learned From It

2011
02.06

I’ve been reading parts of the Transformation Solution by Bill Phillips for the second time today. Some parts naturally stuck with me, as if I’ve been ready for some of these lessons and now that I’ve learned them, it’s much easier for me to adopt them into my life.

I want to share 4 of those things which I learned with you. I hope that these things will help you make a difference in your life and in your body.

1. Helping others to help yourself – I’ve been writing about losing weight and improving your body for quite a while now. Nothing makes me happy like getting an email from a reader letting me know how much I’ve helped. I never thought about how much happier I feel knowing that I’ve helped another person. This is one of the main lessons of the Transformation Solution: that you need to help others in order to help yourself.

2. Forgive yourself for the past, for the future – The past is the foundation of the future. If you can’t depend on it and keep it behind you, the future may be shaky as well. Too many people blame themselves for past mistakes: for things they did do and for things they didn’t. If you can’t forgive yourself and accept your past mistakes, you won’t be able to build a better future. In terms of weight loss, if you can’t forgive yourself for getting overweight, you won’t be able to put it behind you and focus on burning the fat off.

3. Overcoming addictive habits – One phrase which I like from the Transformation Solution is: “You can only rise as high as your lowest habit”. This means that one bad habit can keep you down in your life. You need to overcome your bad, addictive habits, and find a way to develop healthier ones. There’s a complete chapter on how to develop positive, useful habits in your life. It will help you create a better lifestyle for weight loss.

4. Focusing on progress and not perfection – I’m a perfectionist. I like everything to be “just so”. This also means that I’m almost never satisfied as there is always a way to make things better. If you always strive for perfection, you will never be happy and always be negative. The real way to get results is to focus on progress and always strive for improvement. Realize that perfection is never within your grasp and you will become a happier person.

If you are on the Dukan diet you may be unduly limiting your food intake. Worse still, you may be restricting your menu to the same simple foods you’ve become used to. The Dukan diet is all about motivation and creating a menu that you will not only find easy to stick to but one you can enjoy as well. If you are not that confident in the kitchen or not used to creating your own recipes then why not turn to the source himself? Dr. Pierre Dukan recipes are the just the thing to make your diet not only as easy to stick to as possible but as delicious and as tasty as it can be.

Looking forward to your meals is a key aspect of the Dukan diet. When you are dreading meal times, anticipating the same boring food you’ve being putting in your mouth for the past few weeks, you are in danger of throwing away all your hard work. If this sounds like you, you need to find some new taste sensations to enjoy, and fast!

The bad news is that the more bored you get with your current diet menu the more likely you are to give that diet up. The good news is that Dr. Dukan has anticipated this and worked it into his diet by creating plenty of delicious recipes for you to enjoy while on the Dukan diet.

When you have variety in your diet, with lots of different types of food and flavor combinations on the menu, you enjoy being on your diet more. Meal times become exciting, fun to plan for and the eating is good. What you have when it all comes together is a diet that you are on, and losing weight with, but one you don’t feel like you are on. Imagine being able to forget you are on a diet for a few weeks. To look forward to your meals and enjoy eating them. All the while you are continuing to lose weight. That is the beauty of the Dukan diet.

Metabolic Max Program Review

2011
02.06

The Metabolic Max Program was created and designed by Jenny Craig, a weight loss and nutrition company who has been in the weight loss business for over 27 years. My Metabolic Max Program review shows that the basis of this program is to provide you with the necessary meals to help you lose weight. These meals and snacks are specifically designed to provide you with the needed vitamins and nutrients while being low in calories. The pre-package meals are delivered right to your home and provide you with everything you need to keep to your nutrition plan. There are many meals and snacks to choose from and the program allows you three meals and one snack each day.

The program provides you with a specialist who creates a personalized plan to help you start your weight loss program at your specific level. Each week, you are contacted by a specialist who will discuss your progress and adjust your plan if you need it. This contact provides you with someone to keep you accountable to help you stick with the plan.

This Metabolic Max Program Review shows that this program includes a tracking system that is designed to make it very easy for you to track the calories that you consume and the calories that you burn. Once you join the program, you can go online and set up your own personal profile to track your progress. Each day you can log in and enter all of the foods that you have eaten throughout the day. The system will automatically take that information and calculate the amount of calories you have consumed throughout the day.

In order to lose weight, you must burn more calories every day then you consume. This Metabolic Max Program review has already shown how you can easily track the amount of calories you consume throughout the day. To keep track of the calories you burn, a specially designed tracking device called the Body Media Fit Armband will track the amount of calories you burn throughout the day. As long as you are wearing this armband, your daily activity level will be tracked. Once the system has the number of calories you consume and the number or calories you burn, it will easily compare the two to see what your weight loss for the day will be.

This Metabolic Max Program review takes into account that Jenny Craig has been in the weight loss business for a long time and has shown some success. The newly designed tracking system is great for keeping you accountable and on-track of your plan. Studies show that if you have someone to be accountable to you are more likely to see success.

This Metabolic Max Program review points out that having food delivered to your front door can be a great plan, but it is important to consider your finances as it does cost more than some other plans on the market. Also, it is important to learn first-hand how to prepare healthy meals. Without this knowledge, you may quickly revert and gain weight back if you only rely on a delivery source for all of your food intake.

Why My HCG Weight Loss Success Became A Problem: Discover How To Avoid This Pitfall

2011
02.06

Weight loss is a very personal thing and no 2 weight loss journeys are the same. Additionally, if one has a lot of weight to lose like I did (45+ lbs) then its best to do the weight loss in stages or rounds (like the hCG Diet). In fact, I think we all can agree that no 2 rounds of weight loss are the same! For some it seems easier to change nutrition, change eating habits, battle the mental food demons and start a fitness program. For everyone else – we may get there via a more circuitous route – but we do indeed get there.

One would think it would be a safe assumption that people closest to us would be supportive, happy and relieved that we have attained a healthy perspective on life, food and nutrition. But many times this is not so; and we’re left wondering if we have entered the Twilight Zone! Indeed, somewhere along our weight loss journey something has changed – we have changed – and as we change so do our closest relationships.

Sometimes, unfortunately – not for the better. ..

Seemingly out of the blue we may experience relationship difficulties with people we have enjoyed close connections with in the past. Variations of these difficulties may range from minor disagreements to people no longer speaking to one another.

Healthy Perspectives and Healthy Boundaries…

Though it may seem that we are unprepared, this situation is not something that is neither unexpected nor sudden. Slowly, along the way to a Healthy perspective, we also set Healthier Boundaries. This happens gradually and naturally. Furthermore, it is good! This new perspective and boundary not only encompasses food, drink and fitness; but spills over into other areas of our lives. Although we may not be consciously aware of the fact, we find that we are not willing to allow behaviours that we used to shrug off. This is because these behaviours no longer support our new healthy lifestyles and attitudes. Thus, disagreements can (and do) arise.

What to do?

The first thing to do is to realize that people in our lives view us in a certain way and when that assessment is altered it causes them to also view themselves differently. If others are not prepared for this it sometimes causes a rebound effect. Meaning, instead of accepting this different view of themselves and pondering what it signifies regarding their own life – and perhaps healthier choices they too can implement – they become angry or upset without realizing why. (This is also known as ‘projecting’ in psychology.) Some may even blame the other person for ‘changing’.

Further, the other person may unconsciously want to change as well, but for some reason cannot conceive of making that change or cannot bring themselves to take that first step. Unfortunately, you then become a frank reminder of their inability to institute healthy change into their own lives.

React or Step Back?

If this scenario seems familiar the healthiest thing to do is to take a step back and reevaluate the relationship. By now we have all examined our relationship with food, drink and our food demons. We have the ability to recognize healthy and unhealthy relationships pretty well and while the reassessment may not be easy, it may be necessary.

Most often, people that we have healthy close relationships with just need some breathing room and will be pleased with the healthier choices and boundaries given time. On the other hand, we may recognize unhealthy signs which could indicate the relationship is not something that will support our new healthy choices and lifestyle. In which case, a wider distance may be in order.

Again, distance may give the other person time to evaluate their own boundaries and choices. At the end of the day we may have to be prepared to accept that some relationships may not make the transition – and in the end that may be OK too.
